A Perfect Marriage "Ayesha's Marriage"

“Haan toh aapki marzi” (As u wish) the words appeared on my mobile screen on 16th august as if saying that why always you wanted to be behind the bars? I was talking with the bride of tomorrow and as always I want my point to won the battle. But the words somehow struck my brain and I started thinking what to do, looked at the sky and it appeared as if a thunder was coming. A scintillating girl was inviting me and I was snatching away the music from her grand moment. I exactly don’t know the feeling why I don’t want to go may be just because my other friend wasn't coming, showing some unity which I guess doesn't exit. So the awkward feeling was somehow being crushed up by her words as if she had throne stones on my head. These made me awaken from the deep thoughts, also my friend helped me in curing this awkwardness and I decided to go and hail a flower on her among several other roses. Now I had to go to Munawar Chrowangi but the question that punched me again and again was that where this place is in Karachi?  It sounds bit sore that a boy doesn't know the streets of Karachi. But how can I, I don’t know who this Munawar is and what exceptional thing he did that a street is named after him. Bull shit on my face I am a history student and I am barely aware of this Munawar and the streets. While all these thoughts were mingling in my mind a second thought appeared in my mind that how will I go there as I always knock the wrong door. What to do now, Google earth can help me as it do to the Pirates. But all of a sudden I remembered that Ayesha had done the artistic work behind my notebook. Trust me I would have never find that place if the map wasn't drawn on a piece of paper. She had drawn it in the perfect manner it was share lightness to a dark street. The map shows direction from Nipa to the ultimate distinction.  I would love to show the map again to her in future as every word she had written was crystal clear compare to her earlier writing in my Poetry notes. So that day she had done a better job by showing her real skills. The map runs smoothly from Samama to continental bakery and from the last spot a turn was to be taken, which will open the way to the main lawn. Every minute detail she had provided me from the CNG station to the wide range of Shadi lawns. The final spot was the Paradise lawn. Now I have to wear a perfect kurta for the occasion and struck between black and green. Worn both of them but at last selected the green one.

Now the time had come, I got ready and went to dig this place out. Samama is a known place to me so I reached their quiet easily. Meanwhile in the rickshaw I was trying to divert someone’s mind and entertain someone with my comics as she wasn't able to make it there. I had literally turned into a camera when I said to her that you can see the wedding through my eyes but I was thinking would I be able to reach the place or not. But I had the images one could have so I was satisfied that I would reach their somehow. And my believe was confirmed by the shining lights of the lawns but there were so many lawns I wonder how many people get married in one day. The place was bit scary in between despite the fact that on the other side of the road there were lawns but the place was like in the middle of a sea where one finds no traces of the shore. Off course the shore is the paradise lawn and from that place I developed an idea that this Munawar must be killed here and on his first death anniversary a street was named after him. Don’t blame me for developing such an idea actually this is what most history students do while describing a place. It was like entering a dead street. Finally I find the lawn it was at a few minutes distance from the main chowrangi. For seconds I thought I am in the wrong lane but I trusted my friend’s intelligence and hence find the place. Finally I entered the hall but I was stunt as I have come too early in the event. I fell like Hassan for once you were not coming and now you have come so early that few people are in the hall. But then the green signal came as Ayesha’s sister Sheza came towards me and asked me to sit and then uttered perhaps the most awkward script that Ayesha is coming as if I had come to her home and asking where she is. I don’t know what she might have thought on my rising so early was she excited or I but somehow she uttered the concrete words. Perfect I have come in her wedding and my eyes reflected as if I was searching her. After some time people started to come. One of the difficult tasks for me in this wedding was to snatch pictures merely for my missing friend. In this unknown paradise I was to snap pictures. But someone had expectation from me so I had to do the job anyhow. Meanwhile Ayesha came and trust my eyes she was looking damn pretty in her wedding dress with an everlasting smile on her face; her eyes were shining as she was to meet the star which has the power of shining. Paradise lawn’s beauty was doubled by her presence. But then she entered the room another hard task for me was to enter the room and meet her. Gathered a lot of strength and entered the room and once I was in I wasn't coming out. In fact at one time I was stuck between all the ladies and need to be rescued, and the recue job was upheld by ayesha's friend. She was happy to see me and regretted her words but I guess that brought me there so they were actually quite good to motivate me. I was surrounded by a bunch of women’s in that room and somehow I manage to get out from there before that her nikkah was performed, her elder sister was crying while her mother was so happy and at last she uttered the words which appear to be final stamp for the two stars meeting that day. Outside the room I was again surrounded by girls but this time the girls were not new to me Saira, Shahida Nazish and Nida. Honestly I enjoyed the company of Saira as I am not good with strangers but when you need company God always make sure that a soft and smiling voice is beside you so that one doesn't get bored.

Then the food was served and I don’t want myself to be stuck between the ladies so I asked Shahida to bring the food. Alas the food came but it wasn't brought by Shahida but another S the green signal ayesha’s sister. So she found me again in an awkward position. Hence I concluded that her thoughts for me will always be in a comic way,  on that she asked do you want sweet and I was first looking at her face some awkward feeling Hassan stop it and said no to her . So slowly I found the place amazing as strangers were giving me company, bringing food for me. Then Ayesha’s mother came she was so sweet just like butter, I meet her twice before and became fan of her cooking. I said Assalam u Alaikum she greeted me too. I must say the ladies have a die heart smile from Ayesha’s younger sister as it appeared on the dark hour for me and then her mother missed her elder sister’s. Aunty asked me how am I and when she was going she stretched her hand and I was like aunty no  no please it will spoil your hands plus my hairs too as they were gelled but that hand finally came on my head and that touch give an enormous pleasure, kindness and love which at times I needed the most.Indeed that touch I miss even today. Mothers are always good. Then I clicked the pictures of  Ayesha’s family, it must be awkward that I didn't meet the other star Ayesha’s husband someday I will perhaps.

Finally the occasion came to an end with the lights shut off but the brightness of the two newly wedded stars was enough to enlighten the hall. I had to go now said good bye to Ayesha, her father and mother. I had to thank her sister for the food and all. I think I did but I guess she didn't hear it. But here I can say it Thank You girl. Finally I came out and Saira’s father give me a
lift and the night finally got over with god’s blessing. A perfect night came to an end, I will always remember this night.  I must someday say thanks to Ayesha for inviting me, Saira for the company, Ayesha’s sister for the wonderful treatment. At last her mother for spreading her kind blessings on me. It was perhaps a perfect match of the two stars which I thanked Ayesha for allowing me to saw it.

Silence

Sometimes prolonged silence give birth to action. Anyone who is silent for the time being doesn’t mean he is weak. Perhaps it is said that one’s mind works faster in a calm environment but whether for right act or wrong is yet to be decided. The effects may sometimes change one’s life. The story of Moiz is a reflection of the above words. His life took a turn and brought roars of cry and sheds of blood.
Moiz lived in a small house along with his parents and two sisters. He had great interest in studies Despite he never went to school but still he had great knowledge as he was always found of reading something. He was a shopkeeper and works so that his family has a better earning. One day the local mafia asked him for some exhortation money which he refused to give. They warned him thrice but he ignores them. So they thought to teach him a lesson. When his shop was closed they broke the locks and smashed everything in the shop. Moiz came to know about it but he avoided taking any sort of action against them. Everyone forced him that he should report in the police station but he didn’t. He said that they are too powerful and the Police Station is just like a second home for them.
Moiz remained silent as his family advised him to reestablish his shop and be calm. Taking their advice he did the same but perhaps the mafia didn’t like it. Few days later a chit was left at his shop and a number was written on it with a tag that “do call on it” otherwise face the consequences. He did it accordingly. On the phone they threaten him that we have heard that you are earning a lot of money. If you would give half of it to us monthly it would be in your betterment if not then you do have a family. Moiz’s fear was reflected soon after the phone was put down. He wasn’t able to sleep for few days. He thought of giving some amount but then again realized the needs of his family. He refused to give them the amount and remained silent. They did threaten him by firing near his shop but it was all normal for him as it is for all of us these days. The glasses in his shop were broken due to these fire crackers but he avoided the situation. His father asked him that he should report against them but he didn’t.
Moiz’s silence and no reaction on all these activities made the mafia frustrated. Now they tried the other way they fired at his home. His family was frightened by all this. So they decided to report against them but Moiz didn’t agree with them. So he didn’t go with his father. The Police rejected to file the FIR as the owner of the shop Moiz was saying nothing on the matter. The mafia now decided to take revenge and they felt that if they didn’t do anything their influence over the area would be affected. One day they made a drastic plan they entered Moiz’s house and did the evil thing. They raped Moiz’s sisters. Moiz heard the news that the mafia members were seen approaching towards his house .So he at once rushed towards the house but it was too late. Now he can only hear the roars of her sisters crying. Moiz was helpless his silence paid him in the negative way. Moiz was shocked and the roars didn’t let him sleep for nights. So he decided to report against them but he was aware of the fact that they would be out of their second home easily. He remained silent for some time. But her sister’s action changed his motives. They committed suicide. This made Moiz sadder and he was blaming himself for all this. He thought if he would have reported against them and shouldn’t have remained silent, things would have been different.

Moiz had made up his mind. A plan had been made to overcome all the silence and a revenge for her sister’s death. He killed the mafia members one by one. Four of them were dead and perhaps a revenge for Moiz was taken now. But this act changed his life and from a shopkeeper he became a criminal. If Moiz had reported in the Police Station against them, the scenario would have been different and his life wouldn’t have changed that much. So don’t be silent against the evil acts and don’t fear Allah is always with you. Be brave and bold in taking such decisions as these can change your life as they did of Moiz.

A SCENE FROM THE EMERGENCY

It was a bright and sunny day when all my cousins had gathered at my home. We decided to play cricket but we didn’t find it convenient to play in the garden so we went out and started to play along the road side few others and my area friends also joined us. It was a busy street and the vehicles were moving from there. My father gave us the precautionary measures that play safely and we all at once said yes we all but we never took them seriously and we were so much involved in the game that we were anxious to get each other out as quick as possible but who would have imagined that one of us will be out forever.

The vehicles were moving like it was a racing track one of the vehicle had almost hit my cousin but he was safe at last but another corolla car came from the other direction and hit one of my friends and in seconds one of them was on the road. At once we marched towards him and pick him up but the left side of his head was bleeding. We quickly get him in the car and rushed towards the hospital as we want to reach the hospital as soon as possible to provide him first aid.

In a few minutes we reached a hospital nearby my home and he was shifted to the emergency room. Meanwhile his parents arrived as well and we had completed all the procedures of admitting him to the hospital. After the initial treatment the doctor came out of the emergency room and he informed us that his head is found to be tilted towards the left side it was due to his head had struck the ground and at first we want to take some x-rays of the spine then we will proceed further. We entered the emergency room and helped our friend to try to get on the stature so that he can go to the x-ray room we found that the his head was still bleeding and some traces of it had came on my shirt as well after the x-rays has been taken we shifted him to the emergency room and waited for the x-rays after an hour we went to the Radiology department to pick his x-rays and we brought the x-rays along with a report to the concerned doctor.

The Doctor reported that his head has permanently tilted towards the left side and in order to cure it we need to do a surgery after permission from his family the surgery was to be performed but at night .We all went to the emergency room and sat beside our friend the time passed slowly and finally the time had come when his surgery was to perform and he was shifted to the ICU and we all were waiting outside the room. The surgery lasted for hours and at the mid night hour the Doctor arrived and said we have conducted the surgery successfully but the patient is under observation and all depends upon his movement and how he responds. Thereafter we arrived in the room and we saw our friend was wearing an oxygen mask and a glucose bottle was also hanged his bed around and there was a ventilator and oxygen cylinder as well in the room but in a few minutes we saw in the monitor that his pulse rate was decreasing and immediately we call the doctor. The doctor gave him an injection but the pulse rate was never increasing and the doctor told us that he had gone in shock and in a few minutes we observed that his pulse rate finally went down, the doctor tried to increase his pulse rate by giving him shock therapy but it was too late to be given and he had passed away.

The Doctor sadly informed us that he is no more now. The news of his death was a bolt from blue for all of us and his family. We all had tears in our eyes as he was a spiritual boy and his family sat beside him as he was to wake up but he wasn’t. I wish we hadn’t played cricket that day on the road but when destiny had decided your fate nothing can be done in this case as you cannot fight against your own destiny.

“A bullet written for you by destiny would come to you and kill you no matter how many walls you built around yourself”

A DEATH IN THE PRISON!!

Crime has no restrictions and it is committed from local areas to high security areas. You often would have heard of deliberate killings at streets, hotels, airports and public gathering places but never at a police station of two rivals though often criminals are killed by police officers at Police station but never for a murder plan would the venue be Police Station. But one day it was reported that the renowned mafia Don committed the most daring operation in the history of crime near Chakiwara Police Station beside whom are several resident building situated as well.
It was reported that Shakeel and Kalo the two mafia kings of their areas grew anxious of each other’s death and they had became enemy of each other though they both belong to the same gang but a conflict among them created walls between both of them as Kalo’s eyes fell upon Shakeel’s sister Zakia and Kalo use to disturb Zakia whenever he find her alone at the house. Shakeel came to know of this and he warned Kalo but it was too late and his eyes were set on Zakia and one day he kidnapped her and when Zakia refused to marry him, he forcefully killed her in anger. Shakeel came to know of this news and he was shock to hear this news before he could take a revenge Kalo was arrested as he handed over himself to police in search of a better place. Kalo was hated by his masters too because of his suspicious activities so his supari [betal nut] was offered and Shakeel was the first to make an attempt for it.
Kalo was locked up in the Chakiwara Police Station and informers of Shakeel kept him informing about the situation of Police Station. One night when there were not more than 3 police officers at the station Shakeel planned to give the last breath to the evil. Shakeel arrived in a taxi at the Police Station at the midnight hour along with two men who were to guard him during the crime. They first tried to convince the guard Policemen that they wanted to deliver the liquor to Kalo but he at once refused then they had no more option then to throw grenades at the gate and thus they enter the lock up area and Shakeel rushed towards the lockup where Kalo was detained he had a hammer in his hand with whom he brooked the lockup kalo thought that someone from his gang has come to break him out of the station but as he saw Shakeel’s face he was scared and his scariness was reduced to pain when Shakeel fired three shots that hit Kalo’s chest and he was dead before he was to hit the ground but Shakeel could not allow Kalo to such a quick painless death he took the hammer again and began to attack Kalo’s head till his skull turned to pulp. All that remained of Kalo’s head was a mash of brain mixed with bits of bone splattered across the cold stone floor of the cell after getting satisfied of getting avenged Shakeel he ran away from the Police Station.  Soon the Police officers arrived at the scene and they all were shocked and rendered motionless. The headcounstable who was present there reported that each time Shakeel raised the hammer he cried out loud and say loudly that why did you do it you were my friend and every time hit him hard. It seemed as though each blow was to ensure that kalo learnt a lesson he would never forget though that the man was long gone beyond to feel any pain.Next morning there was a huge uproar in the area as who would have imagined a convict person would be murdered so brutally inside a prison. For days the residents didn’t allowed their children to go out of the area and there was constant fear among themselves and among the Police officials as well as the murderer was still roaming on the streets but on Shakeel’s side he was running for his life .The gang members were now not ready to be associated with him as the Police was after him as it had put a question mark upon them as well.

However Shakeel was arrested and he narrated the entire story during police investigation and from where he tried to run away and was shoot dead by the encounter specialist. The Police declared it an incident and launched an FIR and several charges of exhortation, kidnappings and killings were entitled as the Police once in a blue moon found a criminal upon whom all the charges are framed. Kalo’s death put a question mark upon the Police officers but it was removed when three stars were put on the shoulders of the officer who encountered Shakeel. Newspapers and residents of the area of Chakiawara reported it to be the most daring operation one would have ever witnessed of in the history of mafia and crime
